Field Service Engineer Tom Duxbury has won Holker’s latest Employee of the Quarter.
As ever, it was a very tough decision as a number of people have completed some fantastic work across all areas of the business, but with the following taken into account, Tom was the worthy winner.
In his day-to-day role Tom is very proactive, works to improve and get the best results for all his schools. He regularly receives positive feedback from key people and is trusted by all his schools.
When he has a break in his schedule, he will come into the office and find things to do and contribute to the overall service effort. He answers service desk calls, deals with all manner of tickets and colleagues in the office speak in nothing but positive terms.
Over the summer Tom impressed with his constant energy and effort with some of the large network installations being delivered.
No matter what the job was, from configuring and installing network equipment to climbing a ladder to help with structured cabling, Tom’s sustained commitment and willingness to help get the projects delivered was hugely appreciated by both his colleagues and customers.
Tom has received positive feedback for his hard work and dedication from our customers.
Matthew Phillipson, Head of Service at Holker, said: “Thanks to all the people who voted. There were some fantastic nominations – which only confirms what great people we have.”
Tom said: “I really appreciate being voted employee of the quarter. It’s nice to think that the work I’m doing and contributing to is well received, and the comments everyone has given are amazing. It’s nice to feel part of a great group of people working hard together.”
Tom will be presented with a trophy and a prize in recognition of his efforts. The next award will be presented in December.
