The haulage and transportation industry is a vital part of the economy, responsible for moving goods across the country and beyond. So the best IT infrastructure is vital. In 2022, the UK moved 216 billion tonne-kilometres of domestic freight, with 81% of this being transported by road. Road transport remains the dominant mode, followed by water (12%) and rail (7%).
