The manufacturing and production accounted for 9.3% of the UK’s total economic output in the last quarter of 2023.  Automotive, Food and Beverage and Pharmaceuticals. Being the most produced goods.

Manufacturing is the process of transforming raw materials into finished goods using machinery, tools, human labor, and chemical processing. Whereas Production ncompasses the creation of both goods and services. It involves converting inputs like raw materials, money, or semi-finished goods into finished products or services. 

The UK manufacturing sector is increasingly adopting advanced technologies such as automation, AI, and IoT to enhance productivity and efficiency. There is a growing focus on sustainable manufacturing practices, including reducing carbon emissions and waste management.
