As a result of Holker IT’s growth, Tyrone Whipp has been promoted to 2nd line engineer – to support the team in dealing with more complex enquiries.
Tyrone joined Holker last August after three years with a previous IT company, where he worked as a 1st line engineer.
Tyrone was hand-picked from the team for his experience, customer relationships and knowledge of systems and technical requirements.
As 2nd line engineer, Tyrone will deal with more complex enquiries before they are escalated.
Tyrone said: “Since joining Holker, the team have allowed me to express my skills and develop them.
“From early on in my Holker career, I have been given some sizeable responsibilities including working on challenging incidents for our largest customers under the guidance of senior members of our team. All this hard work has been recognised and has led me to be promoted to 2nd line.”
Tyrone will now be assisting his colleagues with more complex tickets to ensure that the customer service and response times remain excellent.
He added: “I can’t wait to get stuck in, develop my skills more, and hopefully sit some more exams!”
